Tazacorte marina is a fantastic marina for lots of reasons. First of all it's very clean and well kept and there is a really friendly atmosphere. The staff are all fantastic and go out of their way to help in anyway they can. Also, when we radioed through they answered everytime - something we rarely find happens!

One particular person to note is Olmo, who is so kind and even drove us around so we could see different parts of the island! The office staff can also hire a car for you, which you collect and drop off at the marina and for around 30€ for one day.

The marina is a 5 minute walk from the beach where there are also lots of nice bars and restaurants with very nice traditional Canadian food and at good prices. There is also a small supermarket where you can purchase most things along this beach front.

Getting into the marina is ok but a bit tight. As you come behind the wall you head straight for the building then turn right and straight away left to enter. The fuel pontoon is as you turn left on the left side. Watch out for the row of rocks around 500-1000m from the start of the wall if you're entering in from the south - they are not marked with buoys or lights but are on the chart. They only showed on our when we zoomed right in though so be careful!

The facilities in the marina are good - they have lots rooms with toilet and shower inward and were very clean and spacious.

There is water and electric on every pontoon. The electric is the large connector but the office have adaptors you can borrow.

The wifi is relatively good (WIFIPAY) and costs around 12€ for the week. The fuel is quite cheap too and is very easy to access on the fuel pontoon at the entrance of the marina.

The cost for us at 13m was 24€ per night but this was low season. High season would have been around 30€. If you stay for 1 month or longer you do get a discount too.

Over all very pleased with our stay here, we made some great friends, saw lots of the island and would definitely come back!
