We were really disappointed with this marina!
Firstly, it was the dirtiest marina we've ever seen - rubbish literally everywhere in the water and the pontoons are in really bad condition, some of them were held together with ropes! We were really shocked at the rubbish, I think if we had fallen in we would have ended up being quite ill!
The town itself wasn't very good either - there was very little there, a few bars and restaurants but they were all empty and there was absolutely no atmosphere whatsoever. We only spent one night here and then left, quickly!
We had to stay on the visitors pontoon which does have water and electric but unless you are the first boat on the pontoon, it won't reach to your boat. There is wifi apparently but we couldn't get onto it even when stood outside the office and we couldn't get it from the boat.
Entering into the marina was OK, its fine to navigate through the entrance of the channel and then its an easy stretch to the marina. There is an anchorage at the end of this channel, just outside of the marina, which we wished we had have stayed in and saved the money, but hindsight is a wonderful thing!
We had heard great things about Porto, which is only about 5nm south, and if we were to redo that day we would definitely have gone into that marina instead. We wanted to get more miles behind us so we pushed on the next day, but if you can visit Porto, then do. Just don't stay in this marina!
