Oieras marina is one of our favourite marinas we’ve stayed. The entrance is a little tight but it’s well marked and the staff come to meet you on the wall to direct you on where to go and then run down to meet you at the pontoon! The complex itself is small but beautiful and very clean, with some shops for fishing/diving/boat supplies, and some nice bars and restaurants too. The dive shop is brilliant, they do great diving courses at good prices - ask for Lucas (he is our new friend we met in there and subsequently sailed to Lanzarote with us!)
We wanted to stay in Lisbon but all the marinas there were full. Oeiras is positioned just outside so we went there and we were so pleased it turned out that way. We were able to go to lots of shops and bars/restaurants well within walking distance and we also had beautiful beaches either side of the marina. We did go into Lisbon and it was a quick, easy train ride into the city centre.
The marina facilities are fantastic - you have water, electric and WiFi and a huge bonus is that everyday you get fresh bread rolls delivered to your boat! There is also a service where the marina staff will take you or pick you up from certain places (I.e. supermarket). We didn’t use this but it’s a free service and you just have to ask at the reception desk.
There is a man who works for the marina called Hugo and he is an excellent person to speak to about anything to do with boats/sailing. We had a problem with our outboard motor and he came on board and spent time looking at it and giving us lots of advice - all for free! Along with Hugo, all the staff are lovely, really helpful and friendly and speak all languages!
Price was around 40€ per night for us (43ft) but for the service, location and facilities we think it’s well worth it and we will definitely be going back!
