Lézardrieux is along a river and it is absolutely stunning - we were both taken aback at how beautiful it was. When we got thetr it was late so we moored up on the floating pontoon that was luckily clear. There are mooring balls but we have found outside of the UK none of them have lines attached. When it’s dark it’s quite difficult to do so we gave up and went on the pontoon!
We went to land and had a walk around and found there really isn’t much at all there. One bar/restaurant by the marina and that was it! There is a little town if you walk up the hill where there is a small supermarket, bakery, tobacco and alcohol shop and a pizzeria but everything was closed when we arrived.
Getting into Lézardrieux was ok, the river is fairly wide but one thing to watch out for is the tide. We had 6 knots of tide with us! Unless you’re a very small boat you won’t get into the harbour but you won’t miss the mooring balls and floating pontoon.
There aren’t any facilities here but the man who was working on the desk was really helpful in telling us where is nice to go next and his English was fairly good too.
The price was relatively reasonable but there was no water, electric, WiFi of fuel so you’re just paying for the mooring.
Overall we loved the river and the picturesque views and it’s a beautiful small French town, but for us is was a bit too quiet with not a lot to see and do.
